If you saw some bright object in the sky and you're going to ask me what it is -- it's probably
Venus.
If you're going to ask me about azimuth -- my azimuth numbers are measured west from south.
This is an accepted standard, but not the only one. And no, these numbers aren't wrong just because
you're accustomed to seeing azimuth measured another way!
